Consultation & Training Services

Jim Milliken provides consultation, standard-design workshops and customized on-site training in specialties centered upon Management, Project Management and Communication.

Consultation can involve a single executive or manager, or intact groups at any level. It tailors process improvement and skills training to the specific organization, with objective problem identification and study of how things actually function in the workplace. Management and staff participate as desired in determining the content and design.

The workshops are designed in multi-day or one-day formats. However, each is made up of 90-minute modules, any of which can stand alone or be delivered in combination with modules from any other workshop from any curriculum. A workshop design can be split into weekly one- or multiple-module units.

Workshops and courses also have been offered through Northeastern University , the University of Southern Maine , the University of New Hampshire , St. Joseph 's College, Central Maine Community College and a number of other institutions. College coursework has been delivered in both classroom and online formats.

The cases and exercises in any workshop can, within hours, be rewritten or replaced by original material written to the client's specifications.
