This session will introduce participants to the process of Project Management and its application to IT. Participants will become aware of the defined set of practices that guide the successful management of teams to achieve predictable outcomes in creating innovations amidst complexity and uncertainty, while controlling time and cost.

The session will include real-world examples of IT projects from the instructor's years of experience in the field. At the conclusion of this session participants will have a basic understanding of how to:

analyze project situations through a practical problem-solving method
establish dependable commitments among diverse stakeholders
create practical plans and work assignments
manage scope and risk effectively
organize and lead project teams
